XNA Keyboard Component Free PC/Windows A Keyboard component should be able to detect input and act upon the keyboard keys so as to enable a user to type in text via the keyboard keys or launch the on-screen keyboard to enter in text to the XNA game. The XNA Keyboard Component has the following features: a)A trigger to start typing - have the Keyboard component start typing at a certain time interval (i.e. typing every 30 seconds) b)Keyboard should register the keystrokes with XNA so that the game can be informed of keystrokes. c)On-screen keyboard should be generated to allow text to be entered on screen in XNA games. d)Keyboard keys can be customized, e.g. normal English keyboard layout is for this project. The source code is not an easy read, but if you are familiar with Java, then you can easily get the idea of what it is doing. The project uses the Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Input.KeyboardInput class to handle the detection of keyboard inputs. This should help you out with the second requirement of an on screen keyboard, and it will also give you a good idea of how to make an in game keyboard component for a XNA game.
